An interesting day in Football Circles, arrests made against Managers and Chairman, Football Clubs for Sale and Managers telling their Chairmen where to go. Seven years ago the proverbial was just hitting the fan as we had drawn against Halifax Town at the Shay 2-2 with a last minute Rob Edwards goal and the ground move to Wheeldon Mill was hitting the buffers. Rumours on the Kop were rife that Brown was going to pull out of the club and that Norton Lea was coming back (looking at it now I almost wish that was true) and it wasn't looking good. As we all know Brown introduced himself into the dodgy chairman top ten by conducting some dubious deals and corruption around football appears to be rearing its ugly head again.
Another Saturday off looms I'm afraid people then it's our biggest game of the season to date with Rotherham, who's manager has just won the monthly prize. Lots of Millers fans on Radio Sheffield talking their sides chances up, let's face with current records as a starter the Millers are favourites in this game. They sit pretty in third place but we are hovering only three points behind them with a game in hand. Come on Spireites I've had enough of draws at home we need wins now.
