A Damp, miserable day greeted us on Saturday. A threat of no match was looming as the yellow peoples game was called off at 1.30ish, a few worried looking people in the press box.
We played well enough to win the game but we also worried ourselves enough to concede. We haven't won enough games at home to remember what it's like to win at home, maybe we are a little too gung ho?
After the game it was the long wait for the Hatton fight in the pub. Inbetween that Amir Khan fought a no-mark who had been bad mouthing him all week and then continued his attack after Khan had battered him into a stoppage by the ref.
Sadly the time was getting longer and longer just after 5am Hatton came on, to be honest I can't remember much about the fight itself only that Ricky was brave but a little out of this guys class. Then we had the cricket in Sri Lanka, I left the pub at 7.30am...I never saw daylight yesterday!!
