Bridge Inn Blues Away Travel

With an anticipated exciting last season at Saltergate promised (well off field anyway), the general feeling was that former travelling members wished to attend away games as experienced with the 'Blue Stoops Away Travel'.

The good news is that after a lengthy meeting it was decided to strengthen our quest to supply transport on the same basis, So with many thanks to Jim and everyone at the Bridge Inn, Hollis Lane, Chesterfield, the former 'Blue Stoops Away Travel' that enjoyed much success has been re-established under a new banner 'Bridge Inn Blues Away Travel'.

Travel will be restricted to members only and is free to join. However, you must read and agree to the terms and conditions before signing the application. The membership application is available to download from this site, or alternatively you may call in at the Bridge Inn, and complete the form whilst enjoying a pint.

So here we go, we start with a three day weekend trip to Torquay for the first game. The coach will depart from the Bridge Inn on Friday 7th August at 11.00am and return on Sunday 9th August, the cost is £90pp B&B. There are still a few spaces left so you will have to be quick to put your names forward with a deposit before the 14th July 2009.

Alternatively you can travel on the day, stopping at a recommended pub on route, price is £20pp.

Our second outing is to Scunthorpe for the Carling Cup on Tuesday 11th August, departing at 5.30pm the cost is £10pp.
